I'm meteorologist kat Campbell in the WRL severe weather center. The good news is we finally got to see some sunshine today. Didn't warm up much though despite the sun 49 at R. D. U. 51 degrees in Fayetteville. We've got big temperature changes coming in arctic blast for the weekend and then a big warm up next week and it's gonna last all of next week. Just check out next week's temperatures in the sixties and even seventies every single day. The normal high this time of year 54. But before we get to next week's warm spring weather, I think the daffodils will begin to bloom next week. We got to get through the cold this weekend. High pressure just to our north tomorrow means a frigid start temperatures near 20 degrees for lows wind chills in the teens tomorrow morning only warming up into the forties but with high pressure moving offshore and the clockwise flow around it. A south wind warming wind for us on sunday should help temperatures return to normal and then monday temperatures bounce right back to above normal. Looking at satellite and radar the system that brought all the clouds in the rain. It is off to the east. We now have a chilly northwest wind in place and that keeps temperatures down tomorrow. 43. The high at least we get another day with some sunshine, sunday we've got some changes to talk about 52 that will come with the chance of a few spotty showers mainly during the afternoon and evening. So let's take a look at future cast eight a.m. We may wake up to a little sunshine, but we cloud up quickly about a 20% chance for rain early in the afternoon. That chance going up to 30% during the afternoon and evening hours. Any rain that we see on sunday should be light, but just a heads up, you get another day of sunshine tomorrow and then the clouds move back in with a few showers, sunday, sunday and thursday really the only rain chances on our seven day forecast some beautiful weather in the meantime, looking ahead to next week, mostly sunny 61 on monday, the peak of the warmth coming on Wednesday at 70 degrees and back near 70 by next friday.
