I'm meteorologist kat Campbell in the WRL severe weather center. The good news is we finally got to see some sunshine today. Didn't warm up much though despite the sun 49 at R. D. U. 51 degrees in Fayetteville. We've got big temperature changes coming in arctic blast for the weekend and then a big warm up next week and it's gonna last all of next week. Just check out next week's temperatures in the sixties and even seventies every single day. The normal high this time of year 54. But before we get to next week's warm spring weather, I think the daffodils will begin to bloom next week. We got to get through the cold this weekend. High pressure just to our north tomorrow means a frigid start temperatures near 20 degrees for lows wind chills in the teens tomorrow morning only warming up into the forties but with high pressure moving offshore and the clockwise flow around it. A south wind warming wind for us on sunday should help temperatures return to normal and then monday temperatures bounce right back to above normal.
